Is ONE!!! Ok, so she's 1 year and 27 days old. Being a photographer, you'd think that it's easy to take pictures of your own kids. Well I'm here to tell you, it's NOT!!! It's one thing to take the pictures, it's another to be responsible for getting them fed, cleaned, dressed and setting up the stuff! So we spent about an hour, and got about 5 usable shots! And of course, the only way I could get her to even sit for that long was with a package of crackers! GRRRR. But we are going to try again! So here for now! Check out a couple more on my Facebook!

My cute, Brother In Law got married last weekend!! I was honored to be asked to take their pictures! I had so much fun! After all the planing, all the drama, the day arrived!

But first we had to take the engagements.

Things I found out about Tara:

She had never had a PB&J until recently.

Things reaffirmed about Scott:

He's a goofball.

We headed up to SLC to take their {GROOMAL} portraits.

I'd been wanting to do this shot for YEARS, and I think it turned out SO good! Thanks for humoring me, guys!

These shots are from the location in my previous post. I hope they can get all that oil cleaned out. I can't imagine what it looks like at the Gulf Coast. . .

Tara wanted to do some pictures with her Dad's motorcycle. But by the end of the SL trip, the wind was HORRIBLE!!! We managed to get a few, though.

It's not as noticeable with the groomals I chose to post, but if you saw all of them you would see, there are a lot of serious poses. But. The whole Wedding Day, this is the face you get from them:

This is one of the pictures we took while waiting for the *famous* pedestal in front of the temple. I swear the photographer in front of us took 25 different pictures with 15 different cameras, GRRRRR! But I got this shot, and I LOVE IT!

And, I got this shot while lying in a puddle, in a skirt, on a windy day, while my Dear Husband is telling me "Your gonna get wet. Your laying in a puddle. You are in it." The things we do to get a shot! But I was very grateful he held my skirt down so the wind didn't show off what was under the skirt!

These were the YUMMIEST refreshments of the whole night!!! I have a weakness for Strawberry Short Cake!

The strange sleeping habits of our family.

*DISCLAIMER* I totally meant to post this on my Family Blog, but I put it here by mistake. And I REALLY don't want to go through the motions of moving it over, so Enjoy a day in the life of Me!

As I went to bed a couple of weeks ago. I was totally prepared for my Boyz to be asleep in my bed. So I crept quietly up the stairs, looked in my bed. I saw one child in bed, it was {E}. Wait. No. That's not {E}, That's {L}!!! (Shock number 1) So I go to check on {E} in his bed, and he isn't there. There is a moment of panic. Because really, where could he have gone? No doors opened, no windows. Where do we find him?

He fell asleep against our bedroom patio doors. That is weird sleeping habit number 1.

Weird sleeping habit number 2:

our new dog likes to sleep with a table between his legs, go figure.

We don't just stop at weird sleeping habits. We also have weird Eating habits, too.

{S} is graduating, like, in 3 days! I had the opportunity to take her Senior Photo's a couple of weeks ago. We had to reschedule her shoot because of the icky icky weather we've been having since LAST FALL!!! I am SO ready for SPRING! But once we got together, it was so much fun! She is so photogenic, and a lot of fun! Good luck at USU, {S}!

OK, so I took pictures of the *C* Family. I started laughing within the first minute. And I'm not sure that I stopped. And not just ha, ha, chuckle, chuckle. I'm talking tears streaming down my face stomach muscles cramping laughing. While I was editing the pictures, I kept laughing, my DH would come over, look at the picture and think, what's so funny? I just kept remembering how funny these guys were!!!

So our Computer got a virus.

I'm so bummed!!! I haven't been able to do ANYTHING for so long. I just have to say

Hubby, I'm glad I gave YOU this Laptop for your birthday!!! I Love You!!!!

{he doesn't know that I just installed photoshop on it. SHHHHH, let's keep it quiet for a little longer!!!}

But, the good thing is. The computer started acting funny. I thought to myself. I would be so sad if I lost all my pictures. So LUCKILY the day before it completely shut down, I backed up all my pictures!!! YAY!

The other good news is that I found a photoshoot I forgot to post!!! I took pictures of my cute in-laws right before Christmas. So here are a couple of this cute little family, going to be 1 larger in a couple weeks!!!

Yes, It's my big ole birthday today. So to celebrate, I'm going to lunch with my Mother-in-Law, then we are going to go shopping for fabric for a baby quilt for Dear Daughter. Way fun!!!

Last year for my birthday, Dear Husband took me to Moab. One of my FAVORITE places on earth. (Even though I haven't really been that many places on earth. . .Even if I had, it would still be my favorite.) Here are some pictures from that trip.

My Boys

Soon I won't be able to say that referring to my whole family. . .pretty exciting, and a little but sad. . . But here they are. The lights of my life, minus one.

So E's B-day is in December, and L's is in January, we did a multi-session for their yearly (which, let's be honest, ends up being tri-yearly or quarterly) photo's.

The day started out great, and after about 2 shots of L, I could just tell he wasn't feeling well. He got tired, and grumpy and this is the only thing he wanted to do. . .

We still ended up with a couple good ones though, Thanks for looking!

The timer button. You'd think it wouldn't be so hard to use. But I assure you. Clicking the button, running in boots on a grassy hill, then trying to get 5 children under the age of 6 to look at the camera while you're running towards them, is NOT an easy task. But the results can ge great!!!

Well, it's supposed to snow this weekend. YUCK!!! But I have evidence, there were fall leaves, and they were pretty. So was this family. This is my second family shoot, with only ONE boy, the Dad!!! But I have to say, both of them are VERY lucky, because their Girls are So Cute! Look at these faces!

I took pictures of these two WONDERFUL children a couple weeks ago. That is my element. Children. I spend all day every day with them. One thing that threw me off a little was this:

Baby "A" is my Neighbor (and friend ;)'s Grand baby. Isn't she so fun! I love how chunky she is! Ok, she's really not that chunky, but the above picture looks like it, and there isn't ANYTHING better than a baby with chunk (easier to kiss!)

I generally LOVE black and white baby pictures, but this BOW was just SCREAMING color!

She was TIRED, but so good the whole time! Couldn't get her to smile for the life of us, but that's OK!

This photo shoot was SO much fun! I felt like I was shooting a model! He was so relaxed and at ease in front of the camera, not to mention handsome! (Although he did say he was tired, so maybe he was just numb?)

While we were chatting away, it turns out he knows someone that knows someone that I know, WOW, what a small world! (wink, wink)

We had to fight a little bit for this spot. There were a couple other pictures being taken at the exact same time, so we just chilled right here for a little while and shot the breeze!

This spot is actually someones front porch. We were just going to shoot right anyway, but someone came out, so we asked permission! I get the feeling they get that a lot!

Sorry Family. I know this has taken me FOREVER to get posted! I must admit, my energy was COMPLETLEY drained at the end of my trek, so I picked up a book. And I haven't been able to put it down. I took it to work last night and forgot to bring it home. Which is the ONLY reason these are being posted now! Thanks for your patience! I Met these guys when I got engaged/married to my Dear Husband. He and K. were best friends growing up. I've been able to phogoraph a lot of their family over the years, and it's GREAT being able to see how familys grow and change. so THANK YOU!!!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!! This is K's son (mentioned above). Little S. wouldn't look at the camera AT ALL the whole day. He was entranced by the grass, of all things. I couldn't even get him to look at his Mom, Dad, Granma, until Grampa got a hold of him. We were in the Gazebo. No grass to be found, so He finally looked at the camera!!

This picture just goes to show, you are never too old to be siblings.

These guys got married right before J. and I. They have the cutest girls EVER. S. wasn't feeling very well (the baby), but she put a smile on when Grandma started singing to her!

Ryan and Jessica got married! From what I hear, it was a long time coming. I loved photographing them, they were so at ease with each other. They were making jokes, laughing, and having fun (I hope!)

Their Reception was at The Bungalow. I was very lucky to be able to take their pictures there. It is a BEAUTIFUL place.

The decorations were gorgeous. I loved all the white flowers everywhere.

At the end of the reception I had the honor of meeting Dallin H. Oaks of the 12 apostles for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He and his wife were so gracious to let us take pictures of them!

I got to go take pictures of my 2 nieces my nephew, and my two little comanches. Let me tell you, it was a work out. We were by a little river, so keeping track of all of them was not the easiest thing I've ever done. Luckily I had my two Sister-in-laws there to do most of the running while I took their pictures.

This is a first. I actually got the proofs delivered before I updated the blog!

This family was SO MUCH FUN!!! Look how cute this little girl is with her daddy! There was some definate love there! That is my favorite part of taking pictures, The relationships I get to see!

This handsome guy was giving me the big time cheese smile, you know, the one where you say "cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. . ." and it never ends, and there is no real happiness, or smiling involved? I tried EVERY THING "You're Dad Stinks" that usually gets them, not him. So I tried this one "Your MOM stinks". Usually they are so shocked, they laugh because they are uncomfortable, but not him. FINALLY he pictured his Brother getting a pie thrown in his face. Yep, that worked! I'll have to remember that for next time.

I have to say, even if he did get a pie thrown in his face, he'd still be pretty handsome!!! He was a poser! I loved it! He did a great job!

Then there is this little cutie! Isn't she adorable? I say this every time I shoot a little girl, but I want one!!!

The title of this post is Freckles, and can you see why? She has the cutest freckles EVER! Actually, her whole family did, but this picture shows it the best!

We went to a little park in Cedar Hills to take {T}'s pictures. This picture of {T} was taken at the very end. She was done!!! But look at how good she was for the rest! I love her dress. I told Mom that I want a little girl so bad so I can buy dresses, bows and all the cute stuff!

This cute family flew ALL THE WAY FROM ALASKA just to have me take their picture. While they were here, they decided to visit their family. I'm sure I have that in the right order. . .

Well, either way, I am so happy they let me steal an hour of their lives to take a few pictures of their family.

If you look REALLY close, you can see the biggest dimple EVER on this kid. He was seriously one of the cutest kids I've ever seen. He is 3, and has all the attitude to show it! To get kids to look at the camera, sometimes I mention that there is a spider inside, and they have to look REALLY hard to see if they can see it. I mentioned this to [L], and EVERY time I got close, he would get a little worried, go a little cross eyed and study the camera so hard, I had to work real hard at getting him to smile!

Brother/Sister love, isn't it adorable!

Now [K] is one beautiful girl. She had the biggest brown eyes I've EVER seen. I can see her the winner of a future "America's Top Model". Maybe she'll even take over for Tyra. . .

Its that time of the year! The time that every school kid looks forward to for their whole life. Graduation. Congratulations to the class of 2008!

I was able to take this beautiful girls pictures about an hour before graduation. They only let you have the cap and gown for about 12 hours, so we ran to the park and took a couple. I'm jealous, she actually looks good in the outfit. Me, I was horrible!

Look at baby {b}. Isn't she adoreable! I LOVE her hair!!! We had fun with this shoot! There were baskets, boas, tule, bracelets, bows, dresses. All the girly stuff that I generally don't get to use, having only boys. I definately need to get a little more girly props and background colors! Thanks for looking!
